KRMA - A Message From Shihan Andy

Dear Parents,

First of all, welcome to our BRAND NEW newsletter and..... HAPPY NEW YEAR to each and every one of you. We are so happy to be starting 2026 with all of you and we hope you like this little touch we will be adding to the updates for you all. We have had a jam packed December but we know that with Christmas now out of the way for many of you it is now back to what we all do. So let's get right to it as this month we’re focusing on consistency and perseverance in training and how encouraging small habits at home, such as practising focus or positive self-talk, makes a massive difference on and off the mats.

Thank you for being part of our Martial Arts family and we cannot wait to see you all at your dojos soon.

Shihan Andy

🥋 Progress Across All Levels

Alongside our senior achievements, we also celebrated belt promotions across all programmes, with fantastic progress shown by students of every age. It’s been brilliant to see confidence grow, skills sharpen, and positive habits strengthen as the year came to a close.

🎁 Christmas Toy Drive 2025 – Thank You!

December once again saw our Martial Arts family come together for the KRMA Christmas Toy Drive, supporting local families and children during the festive season.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our students, parents, instructors, and community supporters, we were able to collect and donate hundreds of toys, helping ensure that children in need experienced the joy of Christmas.

This annual initiative reflects the values we aim to develop through Martial Arts respect, community, kindness, and giving back. We are incredibly proud of everyone who contributed, donated, volunteered, and helped spread the word.

Thank you for showing what it truly means to be part of the KRMA family.

KRMA - Parent Insight

Why Consistent Training Matters

  1. Children develop confidence through repetition, routine, and achievement.

  2. Training twice a week helps reinforce focus, resilience, and positive habits both in Martial Arts and everyday life.

  3. Small, regular efforts always beat occasional bursts of motivation.

KRMA Parent Partnership

🤝 KRMA Parent Partnership (KPP)

At KRMA, we believe Martial Arts is strongest when parents and instructors work together to support our students’ growth both on and off the mats.

The KRMA Parent Partnership (KPP) brings together a small group of parent volunteers who help support club events, community initiatives, and positive engagement across the year. From assisting at events to sharing ideas and feedback, the KPP plays an important role in strengthening our club culture and community connections.

KRMA Parent Partnership

Above are some of our current KPP members, and we’d like to say a huge thank you to them for giving their time, energy, and support. Their involvement helps create opportunities, experiences, and memories that benefit all our students.

If you’re someone who enjoys being involved, supporting events, or contributing to the wider Martial Arts community, the KPP may be something you’d like to be part of. There’s no pressure just a shared aim of helping the club and our students continue to grow.

If you’d like to know more, feel free to speak to a member of the team.

KRMA - A Quick Reminder

If friends or family have been asking about Martial Arts training, we’re always happy to help guide them. Speak to a member of the team or give them our contact number and we will be more than happy to help.
