An Opportunity, Not a Requirement
Some students love to compete. Many never want to. Both are completely fine at KRMA. For those who do want to test themselves, we support competition pathways from first in-house events all the way to representing England on the world stage.
Competition Pathways
KRMA can take ambitious students further — while staying inclusive of students who never want to compete. These pathways are available to those who want them, when they're ready.
Forms & Kata
Traditional and freestyle forms — the discipline of precision, timing and expression. A strong first competition step for interested students.
Weapons & Kobudo
For advanced students, weapons forms (Katana-Do, Kama, Bo, Sai, Nunchaku) at regional, national and international level.
Fighting
Point-stop and continuous sparring pathways for students who want to test their skills under pressure.
Team England
KRMA students and coaches have represented England under the World Martial Arts Committee at national and world championship level.
Competition Results
Individual verified results from KRMA competition entries, plus the owner-verified 2026 WMAC World Games team total of 37 medals (5 Gold, 13 Silver, 19 Bronze).
