From First Lesson to Black Belt and World Champion: Natasha’s KRMA Journey

Natasha Green’s first KRMA lesson took place on 4 February 2020. Five years later, the school looked back on a journey that had taken her to Black Belt, World Championship success and involvement in its instructor and competition teams.

This story reflects the position recorded in the original post on 27 February 2025.

Natasha’s First KRMA Lesson

Every long-term martial arts journey has a first lesson. For Natasha, that date was 4 February 2020.

Looking back five years later provided an opportunity to recognise how far she had progressed from that starting point.

Staying on the Journey

The original throwback highlighted the commitment required to achieve Black Belt and continue beyond it. Natasha’s progress was presented as a journey built through that continued commitment.

The significance lies in the development between the first class and the milestones that followed.

Reaching Black Belt

By February 2025, Natasha had earned her Black Belt. It was an important achievement within her KRMA journey, while the original story also recognised that training and development continue beyond that point.

From Student to World Champion

At the time of the post, Natasha was a two-time World Champion. She was also a member of Team Enso, described then as KRMA’s Elite Competition Team.

These achievements formed part of the five-year story being celebrated, alongside her progression through training.

Continuing Beyond Black Belt

Natasha was also a member of KRMA’s Junior Instructor Team. Her involvement in training, competition and the instructor team showed the different directions a student’s journey could take beyond earning a belt.

Her story recognises both the milestones and the commitment behind them. From a first lesson in February 2020 to the achievements recorded five years later, there was much to celebrate.
