Why Families Choose KRMA
Trust isn't claimed — it's demonstrated. Here is the evidence behind how we keep your family safe, how we structure real progress, and how far we can take students who want to go further.
Safe Enough to Trust With Your Family
Martial arts is an unregulated industry in the UK — anyone can open a club. KRMA holds itself to independently audited standards instead. We are recognised under the Safeguarding Code in Martial Arts (supported by Sport England), Enhanced DBS checks are required for teaching roles before working with students, and our team maintains current First Aid and safeguarding certification.

Structured Enough to See Real Progress
Belts at KRMA are earned, not bought. Our curriculum follows a clear syllabus from Dragon Tots through to Black Belt and beyond, with regular gradings, transparent assessment criteria and a documented student journey. Progression is a measure of genuine development — we never promise a fixed timeframe to Black Belt.

Ambitious Enough to Take Students Further

That ambition sits alongside — never instead of — a warm welcome for complete beginners. Every advanced student started with a first class.

More Than Martial Arts
Since 2007, KRMA has treated martial arts as a structured journey that develops confidence, discipline, resilience, focus, fitness and character — not just physical technique. Our seven core values of Respect, Community, Growth, Inclusivity, Integrity, Teamwork and Fun shape every class. We don't promise to transform your life; we show what consistent training in a supportive environment actually builds.
